After months in development, Hug Life introduces the Big2 card game loaded with an abundance of features, game play options, and brilliant graphics allowing any iPhone or iPod Touch user the ability to play a round of Big2 Poker anytime they wish.
Big2 is extremely popular across Asia and is known by many names, including Chinese Poker, Big Deuce, Big Two, Thirteen, Killer, Da Lao Er 大老二 (Mandarin Chinese), Choh Dai Di, Dai Di, and Pusoy Dos (a Philippine variant of the game). The object of the game is to be the first to get rid of all of your cards by strategically playing them in various poker style combinations.
The Big2 Poker application features a number of game play bells and whistles that set it apart from the many game applications currently available.
Some key Big2 Poker features include:
- Landscape view - Simple “touch” to select and play card interface (card jumbo zoom when holding down selection to ensure that you’re selecting the right card)
- Play your hand against 3 other computer players
- Ability to sort your hand by rank and by suit
- Remaining card count indicator
- Pause and resume the game at anytime
- Shorten or lengthen games by setting wagers at $1, $5 or $10 per remaining card
- Easy, Medium and Hard difficulty levels

“Big2 is a card game I played frequently during high school which has grown in popularity over the years. After finally getting my hands on an iPhone 3G and discovering that a Big2 game application did not exist, we decided it would be fun to develop our own version filled with the bells and whistles the classic game deserves,” said John Huang, owner of Hug Life.
